Ophelia Maria Gomez

Ophelia M Gomez “Aunty” entered her Heavenly home on August 17, 2021.

She was born April 14,1926 in Oklahoma City, OK to Juan and Josephine Gomez.

Ophelia graduated from Classen High School, and worked at Wilsons Food Co. for 46 years. She lived her life in Oklahoma, enjoyed traveling all across the U.S., including Alaska, and International travel through Europe. She had many interest and hobbies enjoyed painting, singing, gardening, and baking. Still most of all spending time taking her nieces and nephews on outings to movies, the theater, and going for ice cream and root beer floats.

She was preceded in passing by her parents and her brothers Everett, Joe, Sam, and Rey Gomez.

Ophelia is survived by her brother Louis Gomez, and sisters Hope McAuliff- Watson and Anna Marie Ellis; along with numerous generations of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their thanks for all the prayers and calls during this difficult time.
