Las Vegas

Rhonda F. Manuel, born March 4, 1968, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to William Earl Colbert and Patsy Ruth Colbert, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2025.

A proud graduate of North East High School, Rhonda was deeply connected to her hometown but had a spirit that longed for adventure. She married her beloved husband, Ivan Manuel Sr., on February 2, 1987, a union that shaped a beautiful family and a lifetime of cherished memories. Her career in the hospitality industry not only showcased her warmth and generosity but also fueled her love for travel. She embraced life on the road, making treasured memories with her family as she explored new places.

Rhonda lived in Los Angeles, California, then later Phoenix, Arizona, and after her children had grown, she relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she spent most of her time in Henderson, Nevada. She found joy in simple yet meaningful moments with friends—whether taking the train to San Diego, singing karaoke, or attending concerts, she filled her days with laughter and love. Her grandchildren like to think of her as funny, caring, hardworking, and outgoing. Every visit home to visit to spent every moment with her grandchildren.

She is lovingly remembered by her Husband; Ivan Q. Manuel Sr. of OKC, one Sibling: Abraham Kerns. Children: Patrice Staley of Oklahoma City; Tequila Crutcher of Oklahoma City; Deontre (Brittany) Manuel of Edmond, Oklahoma; Ebony (Phillip) Hamilton of Oklahoma City; Gaylin (Karriem) Salaam of Edmond, Oklahoma; Teangelo Morris of Oklahoma City; and Ivan (Dominque) Manuel Jr. of Oklahoma City. She leaves behind a legacy carried forward by her 23 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, as well as a host of Aunts and uncles of Seminole, Ok, Dallas, Tx, Nevada, and Illinois., as well as host of other family and friends.

Rhonda is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved parents, William Earl & Patsy Ruth Colbert; her grandparents; and a host of dear family members.

Rhonda’s memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her—through every cherished road trip, every shared laugh, and every joyful moment spent with family and friends. She will be forever loved and deeply missed.
