Ricky Don Hughes

Ricky Don Hughes was born in Chickasha, Ok to Richard and Joan Hughes, on November 15, 1967. He was their only child. Rick passed at the age of 58, on Jan 10, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Ok.

Ricky attended Chickasha schools and lived most of his life in Chickasha. He obtained his welding certificate in 2003. He welded numerous years for Jackson Trailers.

Ricky was married 3 times, and out of his third marriage, at the age of 41, he welcomed into the world, his only child, daughter Willow Brooke Hughes. He was such a proud father.

Ricky loved to fish, and golf. Ricky was very passionate about sports especially OU football and NASCAR. He was known to be ornery, always joking around, being goofy. The smile he always had was contagious. Rick was often the life of the party. He loved music, but loved singing more. He will forever be remembered for his charismatic personality, big heart, and love for his family and friends.

Ricky is preceded in death by mother Joan Hughes, father, Richard Hughes, cousins Gail Hawkins and Paul Hawkins, and many family and friends. Ricky is survived by daughter Willow Hughes of Chickasha, and cousins Pete Hawkins, and his sons, David, and Chris of Louisiana.
