Ricky Allen White

Ricky Allen White was born on April 12, 1988 to Carolyn K. White and Douglas A. Burden in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  He made his grand entrance quite suddenly and unexpectedly in his home among his three siblings, Jeremiah, Jessica and Roya.  All three of the siblings at the time had active chicken pox and this exposure resulted in an automatic immunity for Ricky so he never had them.

That also proved to be his first challenge in life…due to certain circumstances, Jeremiah, Jessica, Roya and Ricky. At 16 months old, came to live with his aunt and uncle, Joel and Diane (and soon to arrive, Garrett), O’Clair in Choctaw, OK.

Ricky completed twelve years in the Mid-Del Public School system, graduating in May, 2006.  Ricky, aka “RAW”, was very proud to be a Carl Albert Titan Wrestler.  Especially when he took second runner up in the 2006 State Competition.

Through his life, Ricky has had three very best friends: Jason, Dustin, and Kyle.  If you had one boy, there was usually two…and many times you had all four!  That’s just how close the boys were in their young years.  He was also very close to his little brother, Garrett, and a special cousin, Matthew.  They all had so many wonderful adventures that only young boys playing on all of those acres can truly enjoy.  During high school, Ricky attended Mid-Del Technology Center in Midwest City, OK where he became an apprentice electrician.  He then continued his education with IEC to receive his journeyman electrician certificate in July, 2010.

In 2006, Ricky purchased his first home and began gutting and remodeling the interior.  He was a skilled craftsman and enjoyed working with his hands.  He was well on his way to earning his journeyman electrician license when he suffered an unfortunate event in 2013 that changed his life forever.

With the setbacks that came in the few years to follow, Ricky made his best effort to persevere.  While we may not understand the outcome of the events that cost him his life, we know he will always be with us in our hearts.

Ricky was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn K. White, Oklahoma City, OK, one brother, Baby Boy White, his Uncle Joel O’Clair, Choctaw, OK, maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Yvonne White, Cement, OK, paternal grandparents, Maylan and Edith Burden, Hemet, CA and honorary grandparents, Wayne and Phyllis O’Clair, Royal, IA.

His is survived by his aunt, Diane O’Clair of the home, two brothers, Jeremiah White, and Nephew Colten White (A.K.A. Craw) Oklahoma City, OK and Garrett O’Clair, Newalla, OK, two sisters, Jessica White Hyatt and Daniel, Chickasha, OK, and Roya White and Cody, Midwest City, OK, his maternal grandmother, Rachel Wilson, Chickasha, OK, two very close cousins, Rachel White, Oklahoma City, OK and Matthew Ralph, Oklahoma City, OK and many more aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
