Robert "Bob" Russell Clymer, lifelong Oklahoma City resident, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City at the age of 71.
Bob was born January 4, 1950 in Oklahoma City to George Russell and Kathleen Lela (Samson) Clymer. He graduated from Harding High School in 1968. Bob attended Oklahoma State University studying Architectural Engineering and graduated from Casper College.
He owned his architectural and drafting business, Clymer CAD Graphics, Inc. where he was one of the top 10 Autocad dealers in the US.
Bob married Nancy Ann (Moore) Clymer on August 17, 1974 and she survives him of the home.
Bob was baptized and a member of First Christian Church.
He was a life-long Boy Scout and a leader at Troop 55. Bob loved the outdoors and enjoyed going camping, hiking, fishing and hunting. He loved to watch Nascar and Doctor Who. He collected every one of the 79 Star Trek original episodes and could tell you which one was coming on within the first 30 seconds. He enjoyed working on muscle cars including his 1971 Charger Superbee and a 1965 Mustang.
He thought his grandchildren were the most amazing, smart and funny humans on earth!
His final resting place will be in the Rocky Mountains that he loved so much.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, George Russell Clymer and Kathleen Lela (Samson) Clymer and a grandmother, Lucille Enochs Wright.
He is also survived by one daughter, Kebi Denard and her husband Ian; son, one son Mason Clymer and his wife Ashton; three grandchildren, Isla Denard, Aria Denard, and Memphis Clymer.
The family will host a come and go Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 15th from 2:00PM to 6:00PM at the family’s residence.
