Shayla Marie Janzen

Shayla Marie Janzen passed away February 18, 2024 in Shawnee at the age of 30.

Shayla was born April 12, 1993 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Barabra (Stokes) and Jeremy Janzen. She attended Tecumseh High School. Shayla worked at Walmart for several years and enjoyed playing Skyrim on her PS4.

She is survived by her children, Aaron & Aurora Sutphin of Louisiana; father, Jeremy Janzen and his wife Carolyn Nelson of Harrah, Oklahoma;, mother, Barbara Stokes of Shawnee, Oklahoma; sisters, Ginny Gregory of Tecumseh, Oklahoma and Kristina Decker of Homer, Michigan; grandparents, Barbara & Rick Cowen of Virginia; nephews Waylon and Westen of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; father of her children, Mitchell Sutphin and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by grandfathers, Michael Janzen & James (Shorty) Stokes; grandmother, Virginia Branson Bussey; great-grandparents, Bessie & Doc Arteburn and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A viewing for Shayla will be held on Monday, March 4, 2024 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at OK Cremation & Funeral Home, Oklahoma City.

Graveside services will be held on March 8, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Forest Hill Cemetery in Tecumseh.
