Sheila Kay Cleveland

Shelia Kay (Armstrong) Cleveland was born on July 9^th, 1949, in Chandler, Oklahoma to Emma Mary (Jacks) & William Earl Armstrong both of whom were born in Lincoln, Oklahoma. She was raised on a farm, where her parents had a Dairy and Peanut Farm. Sheila loved Elvis Presley and The Monkees. One day Sheila and her nephew Jackie decided to listen to The Monkees on her record player, they lost track of time and forgot to go hoe their rows of plants. Her Daddy went looking for them and, upon finding them, had them work in the field for 3-hours straight. She attended grade school, middle school, and high school in Welston, Oklahoma, graduating with the class of 1967. In 1969, she married Dwight Cleveland and from this union they had two daughters Debra Kay & Dixie Cleveland. In 2023, Sheila found out she had lung cancer that was not treatable. Brandy, Dixie, and Jason helped her through all the pain and stress her diagnosis brought to her. She was hospitalized for two weeks trying to figure out ways to get help and everything else they had to offer. They finally allowed her to go home afterwards under hospice care and they did everything possible to manage her pain. On March 30^th, 2024, she went home to Heaven with her daughters and four granddaughters: Rylin, Brandy, Shelby & Crystal by her side.

Shelia Kay Cleveland is preceded in death by her husband Dwight, parents Emma Mary & William Earl Armstrong, brother Wayne Earl Armstong, sister Lola May and two nephews.

She is survived by her daughters Debra Kay and Dixie Cleveland, granddaughters Brandy, Rylin, Crystal, Megan, & Shelby, and great-grandchildren Brittany Rosch, RJ, & Jayden and many other family members & Friends. She will be missed by all that knew her.
