Shirley Ann (Ragsdale) Roberts

Shirley Ann Roberts , longtime Oklahoma City resident, passed away October 26, 2016 at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City at the age of 77.Shirley was born October 7, 1939 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Paul Ragsdale and Virginia (Carter). She married Jerry Roberts in June 1983 in Oklahoma City and he survives her of the home. Shirley loved to shop at Sears and JC Pennys and worked for JC Pennys as a sales associate for several years. She also enjoyed watching the Hallmark Channel.
Shirley is also survived by brother, Paul “Sonny” Ragsdale, Jr. and wife Mary of California; daughter, Juanita Elmore and husband Paul of Warr Acres; son, Eugene Alvarado and wife Kathy of Moore; grandchildren, Christy Copeland and husband Scott of Edmond, OK, Joshua Alvarado of Moore, Chris Alvarado and wife Desire of Clay Center, Kansas, James Alvarado and wife Michelle, Jeremy Alvarado and wife Randa of Oklahoma City and Jeffery Alvarado and wife Heather of Oklahoma City, Crystal Elmore-Goforth and wife Mandy of Warr Acres, Paula Elmore of Oklahoma City, Buddy Elmore of Oklahoma City; great-grandchildren, Bryce Furbee, Jayse Goforth, Jacob Alvarado, Annslee Alvarado, Baylei Alvarado, Jaidyn Alvarado, Jordyn Alvarado, Nathan Alvarado, Zackary Alvarado, Kayley Alvarado, Cody Alvarado, Brayden Alvarado, Rylan Alvarado, Brody Alvarado and Shelby Alvarado.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Creemen and husband Beryl and her father, Paul Ragsdale.
