Shyla Monette Hudspeth was born June 16th, 1999 in Oklahoma City, to Dolesia Stephens and Freddie Hudspeth. In December 2008 relocated to Wewoka, Oklahoma were she began to meet new friends and discovered that she liked to draw. In 2011, Shyla was diagnosed with Leukemia and Lymphoma during this time but she kept a smile on her face at all times. She got the opportunity to travel and see other parts of the world. In 2012, she relocated back to Oklahoma City to complete treatment. In 2015, Shyla was relocated to Lawton, Oklahoma where she graduated from Lawton High School attending Camron University afterwards. Upon finishing, she began to start living the best of the rest of her life as she could.
Shyla leaves behind to chairish her memory, her mother, Dolesia Stephens, her father, Freddia Hudspeth, two brothers, Cier Stephens and Michael Hudspeth of Oklahoma City, seven sisters, Sanghai Stephens, Lealonni Stephens, Shmiya Hudspeth, Yaphah-Samak Hudspeth, Isharah Hudspeth, Hadassah Hudspeth from Oklahoma City and Jalisa Hudspeth of Texas.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents Sampson and Irene Hudspeth, John L. Stephens, two brothers, Sinclair and Quentez Stephens, and one sister, Quentazia Stephens.
