Terry June (Patterson) Lilly

Terry June Lilly passed away December 10, 2017 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City at the age of 56. She was born October 1, 1961 in Kansas City, Missouri to Vanus and June (Fuller) Patterson. At the age of three, Terry moved with her family to Oklahoma. It was evident at an early age that Terry was going to be a self-starter. She taught herself gymnastics and how to do cartwheels.  Terry attended Oklahoma City Public Schools and graduated from John Marshall High School in 1979.

Later in life, Terry taught herself bookkeeping and 10-key. She worked as a Legal Assistant for Attorney Chuck Moss for many years. She enjoyed going to the movies, having parties and family gatherings and especially loved her faithful pet companion, Lucy. Terry was a strong Christian woman who loved God and helping anyone out in their time of need.

She married Richard Lilly on June 29, 1991 in Oklahoma City and he survives her of the home. Terry is also survived by her mother, June DeFriese and step-father Dick of Blanchard; one son, Jonathan Jackson and his wife Linsay of Yukon; two daughters, Amy Lilly of Oklahoma City and Ashley Freeman and her husband Nathan of Blanchard; three sisters, Connie Hill of Tuttle, Bonnie Yarbrough of Piedmont and Vanessa Smith of Yukon; her dear friend who was like a father figure to her, Chuck Moss of Oklahoma City and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Vanus Patterson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 15 from 12-7pm at OK Cremation and Funeral Home Chapel, 2415 N. Walnut Ave, Oklahoma City.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 1:30 PM First Baptist Church Newcastle. Serving as pallbearers will be Nathan Freeman, Nick Flesher, Chris Milam, Charlie Lilly, John Lilly and John Yarbrough.
Burial will follow at Newcastle Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of OK Cremation and Funeral Home, Oklahoma City.
