Tilford James Clement passed away unexpectedly at 85 years young, on January 9th, 2024, surrounded by his loving family, following complications of a massive stroke. He was born on March 5th, 1938 to his late parents Mae and Roy Clement in Kingston, Oklahoma.
Tilford is survived and missed by his loving wife Juanita (Orr) Clement of 59 years and their daughters, Robin with husband Greg Rutledge and Roxann Ford. Forever treasured and remembered by his four grandchildren, Morgan with husband Clayton Johnson, Jordan with husband Rikki Ibarra, and Rylee with husband Justin Kaulaity, and Kelton Ford. His memory will be cherished by his great-granddaughters Giulia and Capri Johnson and Evalina Ibarra as their sweet Papa T.
Tilford is preceded in death by his parents, brother Milford Clement, niece Tama Sitz, and nephew Noel Clement.
Tilford grew up loving the game of baseball. He played for his high school team the Kingston Redskins, where he graduated with the class of 1955, and then on a community team. In 1964 he married the love of his life, Juanita Orr, and moved to the Lebanon/Madill, Oklahoma area, where he lived a full, loving, family-filled life. His sense of community continued as he was a dedicated member of the Church of Christ in Powell, Oklahoma for many years to follow. He worked hard as a carpenter and his handiwork can be seen throughout the Texoma area.
Tilford was known for his calm demeanor, dry sense of humor, and heart of gold. He never hesitated to let people know that he loved them.
