Timothy Wayne Vines

Timothy Vines of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed suddenly and returned home to his Heavenly Father on September 24, 2023, at the age of 24. He was born July 21, 1999, in Houston, Texas, to Lester & Teresa Vines. 

Timothy attended Edmond Memorial High School in Edmond, Oklahoma, where he graduated in 2017. At EMHS, he was active in Men’s Vocal Music, YMCA Youth & Government, Yearbook, and FCCLA (Family, Career & Community Leaders of America). For two years, Timothy served as FCCLA’s chapter Co-President and served as an FCCLA District Officer. 

After high school, Timothy attended Oklahoma Baptist University and served in the United States Air Force. While in the military, Timothy met the love of his life, Mackenzie Ostrowsky from Richland, Washington. They were married on December 16, 2019. Together they were blessed with two precious sons Oliver (2) & Benjamin (1). Timothy loved his sons dearly.    

The family and friends of Timothy will always remember how he would light up a room with his smile and wit. His kindness and ability to make new friends were inspiring. He was eager to learn and lend a helping hand whenever he saw a need. Timothy’s dreams and intelligence guided his entrepreneurial spirit. His excellent technology and computer skills served as a foundation for the businesses he created.

Timothy was preceded in death by his father Lester Vines and his aunt Winnie “Becky” Morrisey.

He is survived by his wife Mackenzie Vines, sons Oliver & Benjamin, mother Teresa Vines of Grandfield, OK, and by his paternal sister, Shaianne Emerson of Wichita, KS, loving in-laws Kristi & Daniel Ostrowsky and their children, have played an instrumental part in providing strength and comfort for their daughter and grandsons. 

Timothy’s family would like to thank God first and they are extremely grateful for the support and prayers shared during this challenging time. He was greatly loved, and his memory will live on forever in our hearts.
