Wesley Earl Dixon passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025 at St. Anthony’s Hospital with his wife and son by his side. Wes was 53 years old.

He was born on April 25, 1972 in Jamestown, New York. He graduated from Cashion High School in 1990. A few years after high school Wes joined the US Navy and after going through boot camp three times, he finally made it to San Diego where he would meet Stephanie, his future wife and the mom to his children.

Wes served in the Navy as an HT2 for 5 ½ years. On what he would call the finest ship on the west coast, the USS Antietam. He loved this ship.

After Wes retired from the Navy the family relocated to Colorado. That is where he would volunteer as a firefighter with the Front Range Fire Department in Milliken, Colorado. He really enjoyed working in a small community and doing community events like Beef and Bean Day, the pancake breakfast and fireworks show.

Wes had a deep love of Bronco’s football, Red Wings and Colorado Eagles hockey, shooting guns, skate boarding, surfing and going to concerts with Stephanie and Tyler. While in the Navy, he even had a custom long board, surf board made for him.

Wes was preceded in death by his daughter Nikkie Dixon and father William Dixon. Grandparents Alvin Dixon, Elsa and Harol Nelson and Joe and Dora MacEachen.

He is survived by his wife Stephanie of 32 years, son Tyler. Step-mom Rajeanna Dixon. Brother William Jr and Debbie Dixon along with sister LilyAnn and Eric Bledsoe. Sister-in-law Stacie and Steve Neave. His God children Zachary and Samantha Neave. Father-in-Law Tony Leon and Mother-in-Law Ellen and Matt Heatley. Nieces Jessica Bledsoe, Sergio Lozoya, great nieces, Miley, Amelia and Summer Bledsoe. Nephews Dewie Bledsoe and Dillon Simmons.

He was a friend to all of the people he met. He was the one you could always go to if you needed help with something. He was always there to help, no questions asked.
