William Harold Edmonds, Sr.

William Edmonds Sr., 82, of Idabel, OK, left this world on December 13th, 2025. He passed surrounded by his daughters and so much love.

William was born on August 29th, 1943, in Syracuse, NY. His family moved to Sacramento, CA shortly after his birth, where he would live for most of his life. As an adult William worked a number of jobs and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He eventually retired from a 25-year career with Sutter Memorial Hospital in Sacramento. He spent the years following his retirement as a devoted father and grandfather, traveling all over the United States to be with his loved ones. He loved fishing, music, writing, and his family. He touched countless lives and will be forever adored and deeply missed.

William was predeceased by his parents, Harold Edmonds and Lois Feldman, his brother Tommy Smith, and two daughters, Lana Brown and Lorrey Edmonds. He leaves behind two sisters, Tina Smith and Cynthia Herrmann, daughters, Lisa Lively and Sabrina Batson, son, William Edmonds Jr., and over 35 grandchildren.
