William Paul Fesler, Sr., has left this earth to reunite with his wife of 61 years, JoAnn, and his son, Brett, in Heaven. He departed peacefully from home with his family around him on May 11, 2021.
Paul was born December 10th, 1933 in Luther, OK. Growing up without electricity or running water until he was 16 years old, he would eventually enjoy using computers both at work and home, as well as reading books on his iPad in his later years. He served as a Radio Operator in the Army during the Korean War, shipping out to Germany just one week after his marriage to JoAnn McCoin on December 30, 1953. Paul then began working as a lineman for OG&E in the 1950-60s, followed by many years as a dairy farmer selling milk from his own storefront. He then returned to his roots, working at CVEC for many years in several key position until retiring in 1995.
An accomplished carpenter, Paul and his wife did woodworking for many people in the community over the years as Fesler's What-Knot Shop. His gardening skills were well known far and wide as he always grew much more than he needed and shared it with everyone he knew.
Many others in the community knew Paul from Seminole's Heritage House Senior Center, where he presided as President of the Council for 13 years.
Survivors include two sons, William Paul Fesler, Jr. (Bill), of Yukon, and John Fesler, of the home; five grandchildren: Brett Alan Fesler, Jr., Staci Michelle Howard, Lucas Henry Fesler, Paul Everett Fesler, and Jamie Ann Fesler; twelve great-grandchildren, Tatum, Savannah, Koby, Kylie, Bailey, Emberlyn, Kodi, Kooper, Brett (Bones), Elijah, Katana, and Amelia.
