Arlee Nathan Benson

Arlee Nathan Benson, longtime Oklahoma City resident, passed away Monday, September 23, 2019 at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City at the age of 73.

He was born November 3, 1945 in Oklahoma City to Harold and Charlene (Wooten) Benson. Arlee graduated from US Grant High School. He worked in the oilfield at Frank’s Tong Service for many years.

Arlee married Carolyn Kay Boles on August 10, 1991 in Oklahoma City. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, woodworking and helping others anytime he could as evident as he was featured on Oklahoma News Channel 4’s Pay It 4ward. Arlee has a loving and kind heart.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn “Kay” Benson of the home; daughter, Savona Wilke of Maricopa, CA; son, Jeffrey Benson of Oklahoma City; sister, Hilda Hill; half-brother, David Benson and wife Becky; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Arlee was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Wayne Benson.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 2:00 pm at OK Cremation and Funeral Home Chapel, Oklahoma City.
