Brandi LaShe' Simpkins

Brandi Lashe’ Simpikins was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to L.C. Billy Simpkins, Jr. and Patricia Perry. Brandi accepted Christ at an early age while attending Brother Joseph’s Church, then later attended The Unity in Faith Ministry as an adult.

Brandi started high school at John Marshall then transferred to Capitol Hill and continued her education at Opportunities Industrialization Center (OIC), and Shadow Nursing. For more than Ten years, Brandi worked as a cashier for Family Dollar then later as a Personal Care Assistant for Excell Private Care Service. Brandi loved helping people and always had her door open to any and everyone. Brandi had a smile that would light up any room; her sisters called it the “Colgate Smile”.

Brandi was preceded in death by her grandparents, Isam and Willie Mae Perry, Bessie Mae Phillips, L.C. Billy Simpkins, Sr., and Cousin/ Brother Christian Smith.

Brandi leaves to cherish her memory, her beautiful children; Aarion Williams, A’niylah Archer, and Amar Holland, her parents; L.C. Billy Simpkins, Jr. and Patricia Perry, Stepmother Marda Green, God Mothers; Aunt Pamela Powell and Marilyn Furlow, sisters; Darlesha Perry, Moneice Perry, Dynika Young, Alexia Powell, Aquaria Powell, Nia Berry, Kila Berry, LaTyshia Green, and Monique Green, brothers; Devin Young, Tevin Young, and Tyler Powell, her special cousin/aunt, Rhonda Lynn Russell, special cousins/sisters, Kristina Jenkins and Alisha Perry, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, God Children and friends.

Brandi will truly be missed.
