Bridg'ett Lavoi (Evans) Moore

February 29, 1964 — March 12, 2023

Oklahoma City

Mrs. Bridg’ett Lavoi Moore was born February 29th, 1964, in Wichita, Kansas to parents Vern Norwood and the late John L. Guest. She went into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on March 12th, 2023.

Bridg’ett had a singing voice that even the angels loved to listen to. Her home church was Planeview Church of God in Christ in Wichita, Kansas. She graduated from Lamar High School in Paris, Texas in 1982. Bridg’ett was an athlete, with her favorite sport being volleyball. She would also create gospel songs for the enjoyment of herself and her family.

Bridg’ett always wanted to be a wife and mother. Thankfully, she was blessed to be both. She married Bobby Dee Moore on September 16th, 1982, in her grandmother’s living room. Despite not having a lavish wedding, it was a union made in heaven for the two of them. The happy couple went on to have 3 children.

Her husband, father, brother (John L Guest Jr.) and grandparents all preceded her in death.

She is survived by her mother; siblings Traci Snowton, Michelle High (Bobby), Michael Norwood, Ernie Norwood (June), and Don Guest. Children Nicholas Moore, Melanie Moore, Christapher Moore (Jasmine), and honorary daughter Jerica Jones, 7 grandchildren: Trayton, Veda, Knew’Era,  Bishop, Lucas, OJ, and Ilaria.

We, her family, are devastated by her passing. She was the rock on which many of us stood. Her heavenly reunion with her beloved husband gives us great joy and a reason to smile through our tears.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
