David served in the US Army then the Air Force and was a Vietnam veteran.  He married Mary Hurley Werner on July 20, 1974 and spent his life with her until her death in 2008.  David served on the Board of Trustee’s for the Town of Bowlegs for many years until his health started failing him.  David enjoyed collecting coins and stamps.  He loved watching the grandchildren and great-grandchildren play when they were all young.
