Beth was born on November 28, 1939 in Tremonton, UT to Leland H. and Edna Oyler Petersen and graduated from Three Forks High School in Three Forks, MT in 1958.  She attended LDS Business College in Salt Lake City, UT and graduated in 1960. Beth was a strong influence for good and welcomed countless family and friends into her home over the years for Sunday dinners, having grandchildren over, holiday gatherings and hosting reunions. She made it a point to attend as many of the celebrations of life--showers, weddings, birthdays, funerals, recitals, plays etc. as she could and always remembered the birthdays of each of her children and grandchildren. She often visited those who were sick or otherwise in need and looked for ways to help- giving rides, bringing food and a listening ear. Beth was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in the Relief Society, Young Women, and Primary organizations. She sang in the choir and enjoyed teaching in the nursery. She volunteered to help with events in the community. She had a talent for creating a warm, welcoming home and in addition, operated a cleaning business for 30 years. Her legacy is one of love, service, integrity, strength and sacrifice.
