James Nicholas Antee, Jr.

James Nicholas Antee Jr. (62) Passed away Thursday, August 15th, 2019 suddenly, at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital.  He was born in Chicago, IL at Mount Sanai Hospital May 29, 1957, to James Nicholas Antee Sr. and Amanda (Coutee) Antee.

James was a loving father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He would always drop what he was doing to help anyone in need. He was an avid musician playing guitar and bass. James was a lifelong auto mechanic by trade and an automotive enthusiast.

He leaves behind six children, Jennifer Stopka of Westchester, IL; Nicholas (Amber) Antee, of Hanover Park, IL; Christopher (Jill) Antee of Vancouver, WA; Andrea (Michael) Ginter, of Midwest City, OK; Ashley (Kenneth) Dauzart of Oklahoma City, OK; and Allison (Ethan) Antee-Stanfill of Stillwater, OK.

James also leaves twelve very loved grandchildren, Jason, Spencer, Chloe Marie, Emma Marlene, Jonah Owen, Anna Elizabeth, Mya Alexis, Kaylee Rayne, Elizabeth "Ella" Grayce, Travice Allen, Aiden Alexander and Phoenix James; three loving sisters, Mary Coutee, Catherine (Collins) Coutee, and Annette (Ernest) Ramirez along with countless nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

He is proceeded in death by his Mother, Amanda Coutee; Father, Nicholas (Nell) Antee Sr. and his Stepmother, Ethaline Antee.

An open viewing will be held at OK Cremation and Funeral Home Friday, the 23rd of August from 9:00am-4:30pm.

A Memorial is to follow Saturday, August 24th at 1pm at 2500 NW 24th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73107.
