James "Jim" E. Nutter

James E. “Jim” Nutter, longtime Seminole County resident, passed away Monday, February 15, 2021 at his residence in Seminole at the age of 78. Jim was born October 9, 1942 to Jess and Corene (Gibson) Nutter. He attended Piedmont and Seminole High Schools. Jim attended the University of Oklahoma for two years.

Jim married Ladonna (May) Brown on June 21, 2000 in Seminole. He was a carpenter for several years and also worked in the greater area oilfields for many years. Jim worked for KWB in Seminole for several years and also owned and operated his own roustabout service. He later retired from Grayhorse Operating of Tulsa, OK. Jim enjoyed fishing and spending time with Ladonna and his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Ladonna of the home; two sons, Greg Nutter and wife Carol of Houston, TX and Jason Nutter of Shawnee, OK; daughter, Debbie Stowers of Claremore, OK; step-daughter, Michelle Blair and husband Jason of Jackson Hole, WY; two sisters, Kay Allen and Sue Streater and husband Dale; grandchildren, Samantha Nutter, Keith Nutter, Kevin and Ashley Blair, Zack Blair, Fiona and Michael Kanard; great-granddaughter, Willow Blair; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Preceding Jim in death were his parents, Jess and Corene Nutter and one sister, Beth.
