Jeanette Bufford

January 1, 1957 — October 28, 2019

Jeanette Bufford was born on January 1st, 1957 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was the daughter of Virginia White and Paul Joseph White. Jeanette was the fifth daughter of ten children. She married her true love and life-long partner, Jesse Bufford, in 1975. She gave birth to her first daughter, Sommer Gail, in 1978 and her second daughter, Jacqualine Danielle, in 1981. She was also an amazing mother to Jesse’s son, Rdale Eugene. Jeanette was an avid fisherman and enjoyed taking her girls to the lake and heading home after for neighborhood fish frys. She enjoyed traveling and loved visiting her family in Arizona. Jeanette was an amazing cook. She loved nothing more than to cook a huge meal, make everyone’s plate, then clean up around them as they ate. She was also a phenomenal singer. She thrived on singing in church and even on TBN from time to time. Jeanette was constantly singing or humming a tune around the house for her girls and husband to hear. No one had ever met a more caring, loving, generous and kind-hearted individual. At Christmas time, she would bake cookies, pies and cakes to give out to the homeless and less-fortunate. She instilled these values in her children and made sure that they grew up knowing the importance of caring for others. Jeanette’s children meant everything to her. She was extremely proud of them. She was, and will remain, their biggest fan. Oftentimes, she would get ejected from basketball games, as she was relentless with the referees. Jeanette was a one-of-a-kind woman who dominated in Toyota sales in Oklahoma and the Gulf States region, earning her numerous awards and accolades. William Miles was her mentor and was instrumental in helping her achieve success in the business. Jeanette loved her sisters and brothers more than any words could ever express. She lived for family gatherings, especially their yearly cruises where she would cut up with her Ace all night long. To say that Jeanette will be deeply missed by many is a vast understatement, but she is now in the arms of her Heavenly Father and in the company of her mother, Virginia, and her two sisters, Patricia and Beverly.
