Jimmy Dale Bane, longtime Seminole County resident, passed away Monday, July 12, 2021 at his residence at the age of 72.

He was born June 24, 1949 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Dolphus Ray and Lula Lena (Gilbert) Bane. Jimmy was raised around Little. He married Sharon Kay Markwell On January 28, 1966 in Seminole. In his younger years, Jimmy enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping, hunting and fishing. He worked as a diesel mechanic for many years and also bought and sold vehicles. One of Jimmy’s greatest joy was spending time with his sidekick, Conner.

Survivors include his wife Sharon of the home; two sons and daughters-in law, Kevin and Tracie Bane of Seminole and Dennis and Nancy Bane of San Antonio, TX; two sisters, Ruby Creelman of California and Donna Darling of Portland, OR; two grandchildren, one special great-grandchild Conner Kelley and his father, Richie Kelley; five sisters-in-law, Kathy Moore and her husband Ron, Irene Whitehead, Mildred Storey and husband Charles, Margaret Itson and Darlene Bane and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Ray, Charles, J.W., Doyle and Darrell Bane and two sisters, Juanita Ernst and Alice Morris.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 9:30 AM at Little Cemetery Chapel in Little.

Services are under the direction of OK Cremation & Funeral Home, Oklahoma City.
