Kenneth McBride

March 15, 1958 — January 27, 2020

Kenneth McBride was the sixth child born to Robert and Eleanor (Cheadle) McBride on Saturday, March 15, 1958 in Mullins, Marion County, South Carolina.

Kenneth attended the historic Mt. Olive Baptist Church with his family throughout his childhood. He attended public schools of the Mullins School District. Kenneth was an inquisitive, resourceful and well-liked young adult.

Kenneth moved briefly to the Pennsylvania and Washington, DC areas before settling in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in the early 1980’s. Kenneth worked various jobs for many years before he became disabled. Kenneth united with the Tabernacle Baptist Church shortly after moving to Oklahoma City where he was faithful until his health failed.

Shortly afterwards, Kenneth moved to Grace-Kingwood Living Center. He enjoyed his new home and made quick friends there.

Kenneth leaves to cherish his memory and life six siblings: Robert (LaVetta) McBride, Devoe McBride, Rose McBride-Page, Jerome McBride, Bobbie McBride-McLaughlin and Samuel (Orletha) McBride; two aunts, Bettye Galbreath Cheadle and Aurthor Mae Cheadle; many nieces, nephews and a host of cousins.
