Obituary

Larry Dean Maxfield, longtime Midwest City resident, passed away Monday, March 27, 2023 at Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City at the age of 72.

He was born April 23, 1950 in Clinton, Oklahoma to Floyd Edgar and Evelyn (Ruddell) Maxfield. Larry graduated from Midwest City High School. He worked as a machinist for many years and owned and operated his own business, LDM Machine. Larry enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting and fishing, and collecting guns. He also enjoyed collecting various items and would often go to flea markets and garage sales.

Survivors include his children Gregory Maxfield and his wife Veronica, Kimberly Maxfield and Leslie Loebach; one brother, Dale Maxfield; grandchildren, Jessica McCurdy, James Maxfield, River Wilds, September Loebach, Hudson Loebach and Shelby Maxfield; three great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Evelyn Maxfield, grandson, Aaron Loebach and nephew, Michael Maxfield.

A Celebration of Life for Larry will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of OK Cremation & Funeral Home, Oklahoma City.
