Leona "Lee" Kulanaokali (Golliday) Payne

Leona “Lee” Kulanaokali Payne, Guthrie area resident, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021 at her residence in Guthrie at the age of 63. Lee was born March 29, 1957 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Frank Louis Golliday and Winona Mary (Bailey) Golliday. She married Don Alan Payne on March 20, 1990 in Oklahoma City.

Lee worked for the Logan County Rural Water District as an Office Manager for many years. She loved animals very much and always had a soft spot for them. Lee was the “rock” of the family and loved all of them very much. Lee definitely knew the true meaning of “Mom”.

Survivors include her husband Don of the home; son, Brian Goldbeck and wife Andrea; son, Daniel Payne and his wife Sherry; daughter, Amanda Payne and husband Steven Lakey; her father, Frank Golliday and wife Somboon; grandchildren, Naysa, Kalea, Alden, Keoni, Lily and Leah and a host of other family and friends.

Lee was preceded in death by her mother, Winona Mary Golliday.
