Lloyd David Benjamin

Lloyd David Benjamin passed away at the VA Medical Center on July 24th, 2020 at the age of 73.

Lloyd was born in Cass Lake, Minnesota from Ernest Edmund Benjamin, and Margaret Helen Benjamin.

He graduated from Cass Lake High School and then joined the United States Air Force. In the Air Force he served for 9 years at which time he was sent to the Vietnam War. He married Nancy and from this union Jodi was born. Lloyd received his Bachelors degree from the University of Central Oklahoma. He dedicated over 50 years of his life to the field of Cosmetology, even becoming the director of a Cosmetology School.

Lloyd was a service officer for the VFW. He also enjoyed coaching any kind of sports when need but coached Pop Warner Football regularly. Lloyd had a contagious sense of humor.

Lloyd is preceded in death by his father, Ernest Edmund Benjamin, mother, Margaret Helen Benjamin, and his brother, Ernest (Benny) Benjamin.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Benjamin of Midwest City, Oklahoma, daughter, Jodi (Brian) McClain of Skamokawa, Washington, sister, Marlene Kreps of Montecello, Minnesota, brother, Donald Lee (Velma) Benjamin, brother-in-law, Kenneth Geary of Hillsboro, Texas, granddaughter, Samantha McClain (Seth Steevens), grandsons, John Lloyd and Benjamin Alfred McClain, and great grandchildren Madelin, Piper, and Cooper Steevens.
