Lorenzetta "Zed" Ann White

August 22, 1965 — March 30, 2021

Del City

Lorenzetta Ann White was born in Tunica, MS on Sunday, August 22, 1965 at 1:30 pm to Ms. Lorene Ann White. She was the fourth of five children. “Zed” as she liked to be called, was raised and educated in Oklahoma. She graduated from Putnam City High School in 1983. At an early age, Zed accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. She loved spending time with family and friends spreading the love and word of Christ. Zed was a faithful member of House of Prayer.

Zed was a dietary aide and cook at Manor Care for over 10 years. However, her true love were children. She loved the kids and the kids loved “Ms. Zee!” She completed her Child Care Development Certification as she aspired to open her own child care center. Zed had a vivacious personality. She loved to laugh and see others with a smile on their face. She never met a stranger. Now, watch out on the domino table! She called herself a Dominologist! Breaking out the BBQ grill was a favorite pastime of hers not to mention preparing the baked beans and banana pudding and if you never had her fabulous cheeseburger pie, you missed something special! Most important to her however, were her sons. Zed was a dedicated mother to Larenz and Jonathan. She embraced every moment with them.

On March 30, 2021 at 4:30 am Lorenzetta “Zed” was called Home to be in the presence of the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Matilda M. and Percy White, sister, Peggy Ann White and brother, Jack D. White.

She is survived by her mother, Lorene A. White of Del City; two sisters, Jacqueline A. King (Sylvester) of Spencer and Racine E. Byars-White of Oklahoma City; two sons, Larenz Adreion White and Jonathan Lee Mikel White both of Oklahoma City; nephew, Steven N. Garrett (Alysha) of Tennessee; two nieces, Reann N. Garrett of Minnesota and Jacqueline T. Garrett of Oklahoma City; best friend, Kim Brown of Maryland and much-loved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
