Melton Ray Kerr

Melton Ray Kerr, 70, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away on February 17th, 2021 at Integris Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Melton was born on May 12, 1950 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma to Melvin and Donna Gene Kerr. Melton married Patti Kennedy on December 8th, 1973. He enjoyed poker, football, westerns and he was an avid family man who loved spending time with his family. Melton was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend to so many.

He is survived by his mother, Donna Gene Kerr of Maud, OK; wife, Patti Kerr of Oklahoma City, OK; daughter, Michelle Oakes and husband Bob of Oklahoma City, OK; son, Brian Kerr and wife Janie of Norman, OK; brother, Randy Kerr and wife Sandra of Maud, OK; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Melton was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Kerr; one sister, Barbara Murray and a great-nephew, Talon Fletcher.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of OK Cremation & Funeral Home, Oklahoma City, OK.
