Richard Earnest Columbus

Richard Earnest Columbus, Oklahoma City resident, passed away Friday, December 4, 2015 in Oklahoma City at the age of 74.
He was born September 26, 1941 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Henry and Juanita (Rivas) Columbus.
Richard worked as a welder in the greater area oilfields. He enjoyed spending time with his family, taking them out to eat and doing whatever he could to make sure that they did not need or want to anything.
He is survived by his wife, Clara (Pappan) of the home; children, Richard E. Columbus, Jr; Richard “Junebug” Columbus, Rio Alexander Columbus, LaDonna King and Crystal Columbus; sons-n-law, Keith King and Billy James; daughters-in-law, Shelly Columbus, Samantha Columbus and Lori Columbus; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Angel Columbus and one son, Ricky Curtis Columbus.
Arrangements are under the direction of OK Cremation and Funeral Home, Oklahoma City.
