Ruth Ann (Winlock) Baugus

Ruth Ann (Winlock) Baugus, longtime Seminole County resident, passed away Monday, October 3, 2022 at SSM Health St. Anthony’s Hospital in Shawnee at the age of 68.

Ruth Ann was born June 4, 1954 in Denver City, Texas To Simon Winlock and Shirley J. (Westlund). She graduated from Seminole High School in 1972. Ruth Ann was a loving homemaker and enjoyed baking, fishing, camping and loved riding motorcycles.

Survivors include her husband Tommy Baugus of the home; her children, Megan Rutherford and husband Joseph and James E. Orrell; step-son, Tommy Baugus; step-daughters, Brenda Chambers and Angie Baugus; sister, Linda Hackett; brothers, Simon Winlock, Richard Winlock and Scott R. Winlock; grandchildren, Gabe Parsons, Koren Parsons, Allison Parsons, Gavin Parsons, Zachary Rutherford, Jason Rutherford, Samantha Rutherford and James E. Orrell, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Blaize Rutherford and Xander Rutherford and; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Simon Winlock and Shirley Lee; one son, Anthony Shane Parsons and one brother, Steven Winlock.

Memorial services for Ruth Ann will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Little Cemetery Chapel in Seminole with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating.
