Sean Wayne Barksdale, 35, passed away at his home in Shawnee surrounded by his loving family on May 10, 2019.

A memorial service will be held on Wed, May 15 at 1:00 PM at Apostolic Mission, 740 W Highland, Shawnee.

Sean was born August 14, 1983 in Shawnee.  He is survived by his wife Tami; four children, his daughter, Audrey, and 3 sons, Sean Jr, Deeken, and Kasen; his parents, Charles Barksdale & wife Deanna and Toni Allen & husband Mark; his brother, Adam Barksdale & Kristen Wagner; his sisters, April Barksdale & Joshua Renick, and Cloie Barksdale; his nieces & nephews, Kailei, Jake, Zoe, Annabelle, O’Rion, and Serenity, and great-niece, Braivlee.

Sean was preceded in death by his grandfather, William “Bill” Barksdale; grandfather, Carl Kimberling; and great-grandfather, V V Kimberling.

Sean worked in the Shawnee area as an electrical contractor, and was owner of Barksdale Electric, LLC.

He enjoyed doing things with his family, and riding motorcycles, dirt bikes, 4-wheelers--pretty much anything that had wheels!  He loved fishing, watching his OU football games, and music (He loved to crank it up loud!)

He never left the house without telling his wife and children he loved them, and always made sure to give each a kiss on the forehead.  He will be forever loved and greatly missed by all his family and many friends.
