Terry Lee Calton

Terry Lee Calton, lifelong Oklahoma City resident, passed away January 29, 2021 at Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City at the age of 67. He was born September 6, 1953 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City to Billy Lawrence Calton and Ruby Lee (Mitchell) Calton.

Terry graduated from John Marshall High School in May 1972. He worked at Macklanburg-Duncan in Oklahoma City for over 42 years. Terry was a faithful, devoted member of Greater Shiloh Baptist Church in Oklahoma City for numerous years where he was baptized at as in infant He was active in the Male Choir and Food Pantry Ministry. Terry had 20+ years perfect attendance at work. Most important Terry was a faithful servant of the Lord. Terry had a supportive soul and was a reliable family member and friend.

Survivors include one sister, Delores Bogan of Oklahoma City; one brother, Billy Calton of Oklahoma City; good friends, Ozella Henderson and Jim Patterson; cousin and caregiver, Carmel Kay Jackson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Terry was preceded in death by his father, Billy Lawrence Calton; mother, Ruby Lee Calton; three brothers, Billy L. Calton, Jr., Charles E. Calton and Bobby Ray Calton and one sister, Linda Calton.

Graveside services will be held on Friday. February 12, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Trice Hill Cemetery in Oklahoma City. After services, the family will gather at Swadley’s BBQ, 2233 W. Memorial Rd. in Oklahoma City for a meal (self-pay).

Services are under the direction of OK Cremation & Funeral Home, Oklahoma City.
