William "Ty" Walker

William Ty Walker, Our Father, Brother, Cousin, Grandpa, and friend, left this world January 14, 2021 for paradise on the other side.

There was never, and probably never will be another man with his charm, grace, acceptance, character, and ability to love.  He never met a stranger, he always had a kind word, and his big ‘ole loud belly laugh was infectious.  Ty was an avid golfer with a love for the outdoors and a Sooners fan that could be matched by none; SOONER MAGIC!!! Ty served his country in The United States Army in the mid-seventies and carried his responsibility as an American like a proud eagle.

Ty was preceded in death by his Mother, Patricia Ann Walker, and his Father William Paul Walker.  He is survived by his children and their spouses, Todd and Alexandria, Michael and Trish and Kerri and Daniel Sherer, his brother, and sisters Cyndy, Larry, Teresa, Susan, Sheri, Pam and Paula, his grandchildren, Victoria and Tiffany, and Alyssa, Grayson, Daxten and Kendall, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and finally a list of friends that is unending.

There will be a memorial to celebrate Ty’s life in mid-summer.  When those details are finalized, we will let everyone know.

The hole that has been left in all our hearts is being soothed knowing that he is no longer in pain, resting and probably laughing in Heaven.

As he loved to say, “Love that Sooner Magic” and “Boomer Frickin’ Sooner Baby!”
