William "Arnold" Sullivan

William “Arnold” Sullivan, 85, passed away October 19, 2021, after a battle with Alzheimer’s.

“Arnold” was born August 17, 1936 in Burneyville, OK to William Levi and Anne C (Heinen) Sullivan. He graduated from Sopher High School in 1955. After high school, he went to Southeastern Oklahoma College and received his Associate’s Degree. Later, he served in the United States Army, then began working at Tinker Air Force Base. In 1972, he attended Oklahoma City Area Votech, receiving his certification in electrical wiring. During his time at Tinker AFB, he continued his education with several other certifications from various technical schools. He eventually retired from Tinker AFB. While working at Tinker, he slowly began purchasing rental property which he turned into a successful rental property business. Over the years he owned several mobile home parks. During his younger years, he enjoyed noodling with his friends and fishing. He really enjoyed watching hummingbirds and often sat on the front porch eating ice cream while he watched them. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great granddaughter.

He was proceeded in death by his son Aaron Lee Sullivan; his father and mother; his brother Larry Sullivan; and his sister Imagene (Sullivan) Ellis.

He was survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara Ann (VanWinkle) Sullivan; son Carl and his wife Sandy Sullivan; daughters : Marcel and husband Dale Radcliff; Linda Branson; Cassie and husband Paul Roberdes; Rachel and husband Jeff Bishop; Grandchildren: Paige Sullivan; Sabre Hanson-Weeks; Dalton and wife Searra Hanson; Sylena and husband Tristin Speed; Josh Branson; Gavin Branson; Levi Roberdes; Lila Roberdes; Kaiden Roberdes; Leah Roberdes; Grant Bishop; Jac Bishop; and William Arnold Bishop; Great Grandaughter: Kellan Lyons and many other friends and family.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
