William "Bill" Thomas Angelo Sr, 69, a respected business owner and dedicated community member, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2023, at OU Health Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Born on June 1, 1953, in Jacksonville, Illinois, Bill was the beloved son of Charles Albert Angelo and Leona Eileen Angelo. He attended Abingdon High School and Carl Sandburg College.

For 35 years, Bill was the esteemed owner and operator of Bill's Paint Service in Oklahoma City. He was also a successful real estate investor, contributing positively to his local communities. Bill was admired for his remarkable knowledge of mechanics and was recognized as a Class A welder.

Bill was a man of many passions. A devoted outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting wild game, boating, fishing, and mushroom hunting. He was also a motorcycle enthusiast, boasting a large collection of motorcycles, antique cars, hot rods, and recreational vehicles.

Known for his generosity and strong support for those around him, Bill would often lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was well-regarded in his community through his quality work and continuous support of others.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Leona Angelo, his brothers Chuck, Bob, and Jackie Lee Angelo, sister Barbara Kemper, and nephew Clinton D Reith. He leaves behind a loving family, including his son, Billy (Chrystal) Angelo Jr of London Mills, IL; daughters Marina Angelo of London Mills, IL, and Jessica (Daniel) Durham of Groves, TX; siblings Susan Hammer of Galesburg, IL, Teresa Brinton of Monmouth, IL, and Dallas Angelo of Oklahoma City, OK; and several grandchildren: Danny Durham, Shaylee Angelo, Tristan Angelo, Faith Angelo, Robin Lee Angelo-Burnett, and Colten Angelo-Burnett. Bill is also survived by many nieces and nephews. His beloved animal companion, Sugar, will be taken care of by a family member.

Bill will be cremated, and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the St. Jude Organization in memory of Bill.
